There is a certain amount of angst associated with NaNoWriMo this week. In fact, it isn’t really going that well. Here’s the Day 14 summary.
I’ve started a new feature called Daily Photo. These are images from my travels of various kinds.
Thinking Out Loud this week was about staring into mirrors, why there are always mirrors at toilet level in bathrooms, and getting older.
I’ve started putting up the posts from the Calistoga road trip. Here’s on the way to Calistoga. And the Napa part of Raven’s Quest. As well as the Calistoga part.

I also reviewed Dooms Day Book by Connie Willis.
It has been an expensive and painful week. I thought that it would be okay but it’s getting worse and worse and, in fact, worse. Summary: our cat is sick, the vet bill is abysmal, and I crashed my motorcycle.
