I’m sitting outside McDonald’s in Fernley, being checked out by a large sea gull, which seems to be looking at me and saying “Mine?” I’ve just had a Mc’s breakfast burrito, and very nasty it was, too, if you’ve ever looked inside those things. This is the first burger joint I’ve been at since I left on my journey a few days ago. It seems like a very long time, but it isn’t really.

Don was here earlier. This is the first time I’ve been able to get a cell signal since I left, so I thought I’d commemmorate it with a Voice Post. He’s waiting for me at a rest area a couple of exits down, and we’re going to take it from there. My current inclination is to ask if he’s got enough energy to get down to Carson City, because while he snores (and he will need to), I can go and walk around the city and get, like, ten million billion snarfs. So, I’ll be finishing my coffee, my Mc’s coffee, and will then get on the way if this sea gull doesn’t eat me first, because it’s looking VERY suspicious!
