RSS Updates and ramblings
Filed in Blog, NaNoWriMo2007JR is okay. The vet chuckled and said “he’s not a happy boy.” I’m sure he’s filling his time with his best hisses rather than his furry kisses. The poor chap has a UTI and couldn’t pee well for several days. He has therefore received a catheter and can now relieve himself at great length (no doubt with much grumbling. He grumbles well.)
We get him back tomorrow. It will be interesting because the girls will sense he’s been sick and will probably mug him, and there isn’t really a great deal of space in the bathroom for corralling. OTOH, he does have a large cage, so that might do it.
I’m sort of scratching my head over the NaNo novel. I simply can’t be bothered to write it. I’m still one day and a few hundred words from the previous day behind. Yet when I sit down the words flow nicely enough. It’s just bothering to sit down and not doing something else like checking email or drinking a beer that gets in the way. I’m pretty sure I’ll finish, but it might be a last minute scramble after all.

Setting a schedule for Nano is the only thing that gets me motivated to get my words in. For whatever reason I am most creative just before bed so I schedule my writing from 10:30 to midnight.

I’m nearly 7000 words behind now…not sure if I’m going to be able to catch up without huge amounts of cheating. I’m thinking of jacking it in, to be honest.
