Blossom
Filed in Blog, Daily Photo
Amber told me what kind of tree this was…a tulip tree, perhaps? The pink blossoms were absolutely gorgeous. This was taken on our 10th March snarfari around Stockton.

“Tulip tree” is one common name for it, but there’s a very different tree also called “tulip tree.” To be specific, most folks I know call it a “tulip magnolia,” and there are a few varieties even of that. Some people call the other tulip tree a “tuliptree,” “tulip poplar,” or “yellow poplar” to differentiate.
