Treasure-hunting

As Don and I walked back from our geocaching excursion, I heard some high-pitched buzzes that sounded a bit like a text message warning from a cellphone. I thought that some fisherman was texting, but then we rounded the corner and saw this fellow. He was scanning the shores with his metal detector. I wonder what he found?
