This tiny little bird was feeding off the thistles, tossing mouthfulls of seed into the air. If you know what thistle flowers are like, you know how small this little guy was–just two or three inches, at most. I don’t think it is a hummingbird, as it didn’t fly or hover like one, but it was amazingly small.
