It’s Thursday morning, coming up to eight, and my internet access will expire soon. I’ve done bike maintenance, and now I need to get on with putting the luggage of death on my bike. I will be glad when, in a day or two, I can get rid of some of it.

There will be a short delay while I add some air to the tyres, not much, but enough. (2 lbs in front, 1 lb in rear). I wish I had a little portable pump, that way I can be clumsy in private and not in public.

I’m heading east again; I don’t know where I will be tonight. Albuquerque seems unlikely, but I will aim to be at least 200 miles east by the time I quit for the day. It was very windy last night and it disturbed my sleep, but I am alert and ready to go.
