Filed in BlogI’m not sure when exactly, but I did something to my back/shoulder muscles at the storage shed. I can stand, I can sit/kneel; actually moving between those two positions is liable to create “ow” noises with accompanying muscle spasms and burning. I badly need to see a chiropractor, but that’s not going to happen.
Tiger Balm helps, and I’m going to take a hot shower and rest to see if that will help.
I spent eight hours at work together as a team of four unloading a pallet of Christmas decorations. Some were glorious, some were awful. There was much mocking. For example, what was the designer smoking when s/he thought, “I know! I’ll paint Santa faces on a bunch of little round bells and glue them together in the shape of a Christmas tree!” or “Great! I’ll make a Santa with long, rubber cork-screw-like legs” or even “Hey look! A frog squatting on a wrapped gift box!”
Some very kind soul wrote the aisle numbers of all the products in a ltitle book in the breakroom. After I’d copied this into mine, I became the go-to girl for questions. It’s a bit like hide and seek. The products hide, the customers seek, I find them.
At home, I solved the issue of being sick of filing by labeling a box “tax returns and unfiled crap.” One day it might get filed. Either way, the tax returns are on top and we don’t need to get at them anytime soon. We dumped a bunch of stuff outside for the yard sale and I paid household bills for the last time. I estimate it will take me about two hours to close out my office and maybe another two to do the kitchen.
This sucks.

ooooo I hope you feel better soon! I love the Cheezburger cats so much. I am on an insane keyboard in Romania that looks English but none of the keys are where they should be. its mystery typing time! Never again will i travel without my laptop! But any advice on where to bike in Slovenia would be loved!!!!

Ooo…That’s how I did my filing last year when I knew I was moving. I *just* last month got around to actually putting it all into a file cabinet and not a box marked “to be filed”. I think it’s harder to find stuff now.
You have my sympathetic virtual pats on the back.

I feel so bad for you-have since this all started. Wish I was close enough to help or let you camp in our back yard or something. I don’t have a guest room or you could have that.
