The high wind advisories are still in place. I’m almightily sick of this weather, of being at the mercy of gusts. I don’t know whether I’ll set out tomorrow, or set out way early, or what. It’s hard to know what to do and what is best.

I can’t help thinking that these, the last few hundred miles before I hang up my helmet for a while, are going to be the most challenging of all. Ah well. I have between three and four days to get to Albuquerque, and if it means I have to ride a mere 75 miles a day to manage it, so shall it be.
