Hi y’all

I’m in a neat Route 66 motel with wireless access ::bliss::

It even has a microwave, though I’d better check that the cups that came with my camping gear have not melted. Microwaves aren’t much use for canned goods without a microwaveable bowl.

Anyway, The Beast is fixed, and the full report will follow later. What I’ve been doing is copying and pasting the transcribed phone posts so that I can make more along the way tomorrow (it’s fun). I will try to make a separate post with answers to comments - I will not be able to answer them all - I actually want to get some writing done. ;-)

I asked for an adventure…I sure got one! :: laugh ::
