The last adventure, 6th July

Filed in Nevada 2006

I met someone I’d been talking to on the publishing support list for a few years - JC Simonds is her name. She runs a distribution and storage business, and has a book of her own about a female pirate. With that new Pirates movie coming out some of you might be interested–I’ll post details later, when I can look them up.

We swapped signed copies and hit it off very well, chatting about my trip and her work and the whole world of publishing. And I visited my warehoused books–now you know why I didn’t want ‘em in my house! She took me to Joe’s, an old-fashioned diner with red decor and personal juke boxes. It was very neat and had biker parking up front. Somehow, she figured I might enjoy it. ;-)
