The delights of nothingness

Filed in Blog

We got to our campground last night around eight and when I woke up this morning I realized that there was nothing I wanted less than to go traveling again. So we stayed put, got another night, and I have been working on the arduous task of reading a novel all day. :: grin ::

I have remembered that from time to time it is very important that I unplug from everything and just make like a banana slug for a while.

Only another 200 pages to go. ;)

The most exciting thing that has happened today is when our neighbor came round to borrow a lighter. Neither of us had had coffee at that point and so we commiserated about the grouchiness caused by lack of caffeine. ;)

Had to google Banana slug. This is why I keep reading your posts. You radiate wisdom even when you’re doing nothing. :)

There’s a common phrase around here regarding being lazy: “Go resemble a banana slug.: ;)

I sent Don a postcard with one on, once.
