The dead zone

Filed in Britain 2005 (1), Travel

We’re somewhere over Greenland now…the world is dark. I like the map which shows where the daylight is…we’re flying towards the light.

I just got a twitch from my wireless which said it can detect a network…I had probably better not use it. Airline prices are rather, um, elevated. :: ducks and runs from the pun police ::

This is the dead zone of the flight. I’ve done the napping I can, which is a lot more than usual, but haven’t fallen deeply asleep. Our flight is supposed to arrive 45 minutes early…we’ll see.

Hm, that’s interesting. We’re literally in the middle of the night…the image is a parabola shape, and the plane is in the centre…

We’ll be over Greenland soon, crossing the last patch of Atlantic before we ride down the length of the British Isles.

Do you think they would throw me out if I started singing? ;-)

Three and a bit hours to go. 3423 miles down, my battery is halfway done with, and 1991 miles to go. La, la, la.
