It’s April 2nd, and once again we are overcome with white, cold stuff. It’s a good job this didn’t happen yesterday; nobody would have believed me.
Winter’s last fling
We woke up to what may well be the last snow of the winter, at least at this elevation. There’s been a lot of snow higher up, making the mountains look like frosted cakes, but it’s rare to find it where we have to deal with it.
Snow would be warmer
It’s been intensely cold the last few days, but the really-cold snap seems to have broken. And even if it hasn’t, we now have weaponry against Jack Frost: brick-red, fleece, electric-equipped weaponry.
