Peace and quiet: I need it to live
Peace and quiet: I need it to live
We found Lodi Lake and hung out with the water fowl. (Good.) My work session at the storage shed was one long distraction. (Bad.) Indian food with Amber and family was delicious. (Good.)
Whiskeytown Lake
Whiskeytown Lake was flooded over a historic town, Whiskeytown. Now, all that remains is a beautiful scene and a state historic landmark designation.

We went on a boat! Part 2
Part 1 of this photo essay is here in case you missed it. ;) At some stage we got hungry so we picked out a nice spot for a pic-a-nic. After a few hours on the water it had to have shade.
We went on a boat! Part 1
15 June 2008 We are very lucky because we happen to have friends who (a) own a boat, and (b) invited us to go out and play. ;) The boat was an eight-seater with a little engine and could go at least 30 mph. Short of rowing boats I’d never been on one this small [...]
