Sniffing the breeze
I wrote all day, because there’s interesting stuff afoot. It’s not every day that roofs get blown off houses, and duchesses start a career.
Adjustment
I went for a walk and got my hip to behave itself for the first time in months. I also had a conversation with Cousin It.
Meditative states
I do better when I motivate myself to meditate, before getting hung up on anything. It is amazingly still and silent out here at times.
Dreams and jackrabbits
I went for a walk and rustled up a jackrabbit. Then I found a book about dreaming in Wyoming, and now I want to go there.
Coyote candy
We normally hear coyotes in the evening, but this morning they were howling at dawn. The noise always sounds like it’s right out of our window, but we seldom see them.
Sand hamster
Because there is a sign here, I took a photograph of it. I also played peek-a-boo with a desert hamster.
Wil-e Coyote
The coyote that crossed the road this morning was probably relocating away from hunters, but I’d put my bets on the coyote. I could almost see it rolling its eyes.
Five-cent homes
Facebook is bringing in a new format that won’t work well with slow Internet connections. In other news, I forwent a nickel so some ants didn’t have to be homeless.
