Down the hill

Down the hill

We headed down the hill in search of solar, but first we had to clean all our clothes and shop for food.

Old Shasta City

Old Shasta City

Don parked in Old Shasta on two occasions so that I could explore the new historical markers. I last stopped by for exploration two years ago.

When a vista point works

When a vista point works

Back in May, I rode to Arcata and back to visit with the Activated Storytellers (and, it turned out, a couple of other interesting traveling families as well). Behold, I am Superwoman

I rode into Redding, and acquired Manly Tools. Then I brought them back, where they did marvelous and exciting things to the transmission.

The amazing water-going pylon

The amazing water-going pylon

I’ve been trying to photograph this critter since May! The pylon is placed in Whiskeytown Lake and every shot I took until now was just a blur or obscured by something. I just find it fascinating! We took a quick run down the hill to get propane and supplies at the end of October.
