Living the life of Disney
Creatures of the forest came and played, or nearly crashed into, me this morning.
You are my sunshine
When the sun comes out for the first time in days, it’s hard to want to do anything other than to hang out under its warming rays. So I did.
Ant trails
I followed ant trails back a quarter-mile, and listened to the ravens cronk. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a place where ravens cronk.
A spot beside the river
There’s a little campground on the Parker Strip and it has our name on it. The smell of rotting vegetation is nothing compared to a cool breeze coming off the river.
From dawn til dusk
I sandwiched walks in at dusk and dawn, saw a kit fox, and thought about money.
Birds on the roof
Today’s picture is the image of last chapter’s Travel Bingo game that I finally got around to photographing today.
Dryness
The weather is dry enough that sneezes are bloody. The swamp cooler is helping, though.
Funnel cloud
We ate a one-dollar pizza and saw a funnel cloud, which was probably a cold-weather one. We’ve picked a pretty spot to stay.
