Sutter Buttes

Sutter Buttes had been our companion as we passed up the interstate, but this time we came a different way. Highway 20 between Marysville and Yuba City affords a much more intimate view of this intriguing range. Don pulled over at a historical marker and I got in some pretty scenery shots as well. :)

Wow - what a beautiful shot! I particularly love the jet trails just leading your eye to the range. Just gorgeous.
