Sunnyvale

Filed in Blog

We’re still in Sunnyvale, waiting for someone to come around and meet Speedy. We think we’ve found her a home. I’ll report back on that later…

I quit my job today. Don and I have decided to temporarily move closer to where our stuff is. The next few weeks will be ones of consolidation, shredding paper, throwing out or giving stuff away. I really like my coworkers and had to think long and hard about it, as I’d felt settled and the job was an anchor in an otherwise insane life. But my heart is telling me to make the leap of faith involved in moving to a new town with no job and no plans. I believe that one of my life’s lessons is to live without the crutch of plans and to learn to truly go with the flow.

In short, I’m choosing to live an interesting life. Admittedly, life has been too interesting of late, but hey. ;)

I admire you trying to live that way. I don’t think I could. I have to have a plan because it makes me feel more secure.
