Stuck in Kingman AZ (transcribed)

Well this is a first and maybe a last update from Arizona. I made it over the state line .. woohoo .. that’s a first. So far I’ve stopped twice and this time I may be stopping permanently because I am currently waiting for my towtruck. It would appear that I’ve lost first and second gears, not in a disastrous heart flying around way but in a quiet hey I cannot downshift kind of way and this makes it very difficult to get on and off at intersections and stuff and I was trying to do Rte 66 today. I thought that maybe I should go and get some help. Luckily I’m very close to Kingman (?) AZ and therefore the towtruck’s on its way. It doesn’t have far to come and I don’t have long to wait which is just as well because it’s REALLY hot. I’ve found some sahade and I’ve got some sunblock . I’m not terribly pissed off to be terribly frank and I’m all right. I will be updating at some point from Kingman (?) AZ when I finally get there in an hour or two. Don’t worry about me. I’m fine. Bye.

Actually, at the end she said “I’m not terribly pissed off to be perfectly frank and I’m all right.”

My apologies for the typos. I forgot to fix “shade” from “sahade”. :)

Ha! I’ve been temporarily stranded in Kingman, AZ, too (that’s where my chain clip flew off for the second time…)! Here’s hoping that you’ve just got a bent lever or something equally quick, cheap, and easy to fix. :)
