Stop light number 1: the young man on a sports bike vrooms past me to lane-split, then when the lights change he can’t get the right gear and holds up the traffic he’s just lane-split past.

Stop light number 2: the young man on a sports bike does a stoppie. His rear tire goes way up in the air and he almost loses it. I am pretty sure he didn’t mean to do that.

Stop light number 3: the young man on a sports bike and I are at the front of the line, different lanes. We nod at each other. He looks very, very embarrassed.

I snigger.
