Show us yer bike
Filed in Landmark-Hunting, Motorcycling, Show Us Yer BikeSend a picture of your bike (to raven at ravensroads dot com) along with a bit of description, and I’ll feature it here.
Oh go on, show us yer bike. ;)
Here’s mine:

This is Beastie, my Suzuki Intruder 1400 motorcycle. I bought him in March 2006 with less than 7000 miles to his three previous owners, and to date we’ve done a bit under 30,000 miles together. It was love at first sight.
The photo was taken next to the historical marker for Star City, which is 20 miles down NV state highway 400 (and 20 miles back again.)
(Please pass this post on to riders who might get a kick out of Show Us Yer Bike.)

WOW!! My helmet’s off to you for so many miles. I have a purple 2002 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom. Bought it March 2005 with 3,906 miles and now have 15,545 miles of adventures on it. I am able to ride in the winter, when there isn’t snow or ice on the roads. Love your blog. Your historical marker searches sounds like fun.

I made up for several years not riding very much at all, these last years ;)
I’d probably go bonkers if I couldn’t ride year round.
Yup, Markeroni is definitely fun, and can be a great excuse to go riding.

It’s not mine, but here is a pic of my son’s bike. It’s an ‘81 Yamaha Maxim 550. He says it’s a pain to start in the morning, but that it runs great thereafter. :-)
He’s been riding since May this year.
