Road trip!

Filed in Blog

So, we’re just outside the Sims campground, a small and very pretty Corps of Engineers campground that we found by accident while looking for a snarf. And then I discover that it’s a historically significant place and the CCC has built a little trail linking an old sawmill, an old campground, and the first major project ever completed in California for the 1930s New Deal–a wonderful old bridge.

I’m pleased.

While I do the trail, Don hauls out the satellite dish…and what do you know. He finds the sweet spot, the approximately three inches between trees where the signal can be reached…and here I am.

Life is good.
