RSS Randomness
Filed in BlogI’m way too tired. Task for the day, apart from packing, has been to try to consolidate the last piles of filing into one place. I don’t have time now to file properly, so I’m sorting by year into folders called “Unfiled 2003″ etc. One day, they might get filed…or more likely, shredded.
Most folk get rid of their old filing, but I have to hang onto it to prove my status as a properly (as opposed to just on paper) married person to immigration. But there’s too much of it. I have a plethora of filing. (Did you know that “plethora” means “an overabundance” rather than “lots”? Look it up in a dictionary.)
The ants have made it as far as my room. I guess I’m crumby.
My office is looking very empty. Much of it is now in boxes. In fact, much of the house is now in boxes.
Filing goes a bit better to music, and Don fished out a CD player and hooked it up to speakers. :) I am grateful for The Grateful Dead.
Still lots more to do, and another day off tomorrow to do it in.
This moving thing is very hard emotionally. Very hard indeed. It’s like a one-sided break-up. I don’t want to go.
