I have a friend called who’s been taking pictures based on Photo Friday. The idea is that each week they post a theme and you post a photograph in keeping with that theme. Since it is somehow psychologically important to me to start this in week one of 2007, I’ve taken last week’s theme and am going to post it today, and then will post this week’s theme next Friday, and so on, until such a point as I either make it a habit or realize it’s not going to be a habit (it happens).

So, here is my “Best of 2007″. It was taken in April 2006 at Niagara Falls and I like it both for its composition and its memories of a very happy day.
