Pigeons line the roof of Food 4 Less. It was frenetically busy there on New Year’s Eve and I took a moment when I got out to just breathe. I’m sure that, among other things, is what the birds were doing. ;)

I think they’re bird brains. And yes, it does seem that way. We used to have this daft game at school called “budge”…basically you’d all stake a place and the next kid would run along to your place and “budge” you off and you’d go to the next kid and budge them off it…
Maybe we learned it from the piggy-ons. ;)

I think they’re playing a game of musical chairs. Ever notice how pigeons keep moving in to each others’ place when they’re all crowded in a bunch? Seems like everybody wants his neighbours spot. I wonder if it’s scientific, or they’re just plain nuts…
