Well, I’m back. That was quite a ride home, it took me 1h45 minutes. I suspect that the hour was the last five miles between Capitola and Santa Cruz or base camp. The traffic was bumper to bumper. I guess it’s weekend commuter/tourist stuff. Anyway, I coped, and that’s the heaviest traffic I’ve ever driven in. As for the day, that was fantastic, we had an absolute hoot; I can’t believe how many historical markers we found, must’ve been at least fifty; downtown Monterey is absolutely stuffed with the things and in the end I (???)…

My friend, LV, out-snarfed me, she is something else. The weather is a bit cooler today, which is fine, because we all got a bit of sunburn unexpectedly, and I guess I’ll have to get online to update you on the details.

So…whee!
