I’m at the bulldock [bulldog?] rest area which the locals from my home in England when I was living down south will probably find kind of amusing because they lived not to far from bulldock [garbled] actually, bed-for-chaw [that was very garbled] for those of you phonetically reading this.

The rest area is full of redwoods which are *incredibly* big and I just keep seeing bigger and bigger ones as I keep going and there’s all sorts of birds and stuff hopping around. I’m getting a little sleepy so I’m what, maybe 20 miles from portland, which means I’m about 120 miles from lasing which means I’m going to make pretty good time unless I get stuck in traffic which [weren't] so lets hope that doesn’t happen. It’s an ok ride, straight up the freeway, windy, it hasn’t rained yet, but it’s more definately on the warm side, but after all the heat I’ve been going through the last several days, I’m kind of glad of that. And that’s about it, so I’ll touch base when I arrive at destination.

(Baldock, actually)
