Generally it’s not a good idea to get a Papa Murphy’s pizza on a Friday night at six pm, or indeed to serve pizza without having first located one’s pizza cutter, but at least we know now that the big size fits (barely) into our oven.

It was nice.

Today we finally had enough energy to go out and do shopping. We first shopped in the storage shed and I now have, among other important items, my teapot. You can take the Englishwoman out of England, but you can’t take the England out of the Ango-American. ;)

I am upset because I was unable to reach my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary today. I really wanted to go, too, but things just did not work out. :(

Then we went to the dollar store whre I acquired a great deal of cheap tat in the cleaning and storage departments.

Then Target, where I got a variety of cheap and less cheap tat, mostly in the storage department, but I also got the cats a scratching block filled with catnip, so we will soon have stoned kitties.

I was going to do Safeway, but I’d been shopping for six hours straight by then and said stuff it and got a pizza instead. ;)

I have several hours of organizing and planning ahead of me, but they should be fun, at least.

So that was my day. I am hoping to meet a dear friend of mine tomorrow, if the planets align and let us get in touch. Isn’t Mercury retrograde now or something?

But I think you can put a bit of the English woman into the American woman. I’d be lost without my tea pot. LOL!

Now that’s a feature I could do! I have about a dozen teapots.

Pussre: I could do a whole series of them and start a meme. Show us yer hairbrush. Show us yer favorite potato dish. ;)

Hairbrush I can do. What do you mean by potato dish?

I mean “potato recipe”–”dish” is the same as “recipe” in England. It’s pretty misleading. ;)

OK. Dish can mean recipe too but I was thinking physical items since we were talking tea pots. So then I was wondering if there were special dishes for cooking potatoes. I sometimes over think things… LOL.

    *chuckle*

I’m sure that someone, somewhere, is selling them. It is almost a law. ;)
