On the way to Fredericksburg

Filed in Landmark-Hunting, Motorcycle Road Trips, Raven's Roads 2005

On the way, we stopped at Hye Post office to say hi. It’s a nifty little snarf in a three-building town, and has been a post office for many years. Apparently Lyndon B johnson also bought stamps there.

Another woman showed up and snarfed the landmark. I tried to talk to her about Markeroni but she blew me off and looked at me as if I were a small little worm.

I guess that’s why I’m not a door to door saleswoman.

Along the way we found a biker bar/refuge with strange cows outside it.

In Fredericksburg we found the iron chicken from The Clangers.

The green picture just shows how incredibly green and lush it is around the area.
