The train mall
Filed in PhotographyWe’re in Calistoga right now because our home has wheels and, well, because we can. :)
While looking for historical markers (you just betcha I found a few ;) I discovered that the old train depot had several neat old train carriages beside it, converted into eclectic little shops ranging from a photography supplier to a new age store. I found these absolutely delightful and spent a happy while stomping over the wooden platforms and window shopping.
This is a picture that for whatever reason I just really like: I think that the symmetry is what’s really appealing. It’s been a while since I just went around taking pictures for the sheer joy of it, and I thought I’d share. :)
