NaNoWriMo Day 9

Filed in NaNoWriMo2007

I caught up as far as yesterday today, so technically speaking I could still write my bout of words for today and catch up. I’m not too sure that’s going to happen, though.

I have the twinklings of an ending, and it may not be the happy one I first envisaged. But it’s nice to have the approximate ending. Now I have to think of umpty-ump thousand words to describe what this character gets up to. Right now she’s just emerged from a six month hibernation just in time for the winter solstice. I didn’t plan that for her, either, but she’s suddenly a fugitive.

I can’t believe how much I am “cheating” to get my word count up. I can see a fun Thursday Thirteen in my future. ;)

This is neat. :: smile :: I don’t mean the writing itself–much as I enjoy it, it’s really bad. ;) I mean the process of having a story go its own merry way. I like this.

Good luck getting from point A to point Q with your story. (I still haven’t figured out that part for myself, either!)

I believe I deserve extra word-count for the fact that I incorporated the “spork” into my novel.

    ;)

My story did some things I didn’t expect, but it all seems to be working out OK. Though I really hate when bad things happen to my good guys!

So far this year I haven’t needed to cheat but last year boy was I ever. But then I jumped into it with about 3 days of planning.

Ooh, a spork! You must be so proud. ;)

I killed Cliff Brooks. That’s our local group’s ninja to be incorporated into all stories. *grin*

I jumped into this one with no days of planning, so I’m cheating like crazy. ;)
