Mm, cookies
Filed in BlogToday I bought Viennese shortbread crescents. They weren’t just like the walnut crescents my Mam makes, but they were a pretty good store-bought facsimile.
Then there were the home-baked cookies from FloraFloraFlora.
All gone.
And this is the same day that I picked up the spare feet for my scales, since one of the original feet was lost in the move and the scales don’t work without them (they won’t distribute the weight properly so it keeps telling me I weigh 40 pounds less than I know I weigh. ;)
So many goodies. So little time. *grin*

I have been trying to recreate my aunts cheesecake for years, she REFUSES to part with the recipe. Today I succeeded!! It is perfection. I then ate my entire first attempt.

Mam will give me the recipe, I’m sure…but I think I’ll wait until I go over there to eat some more. :)
