Minty goodness

I smelled a familiar, delicious but somehow hard-to-place scent while exploring Old Sacramento. It seemed to emanate from this plant, in a little garden near the schoolhouse museum. “Mint!” said Amber, and I said, “Aha!” Dad used to grow it and we’d have fresh mint sauce every week for Sunday dinner.
