Looking down the river

The view down the river from Tower Bridge is pretty neat. On the right is the old town Sacramento, and river boats line the shores. This is real “Mark Twain land.”

The delta is beautiful, but Sacramento, for some reason, I find very depressing. Maybe that’s a strong word - More like boring.

I haven’t really spent enough time there to form much of an opinion, but I do think that it lacks the charms of some cities. On the other hand, Old Sacramento is pretty neat. :)
