Someone for your back seat…or to ride side by side.
Filed in BlogDon and I enjoy riding side by side. We’ve gotten so that we’re enough in tune that we can ride two to the same lane, never cutting one another up. It’s rather neat and looks cool, especially when going round corners.
Biker Planet is a place where biker singles can meet someone to share a lane or a bike with. There are a few teaser profiles on the front page but to see more you need to join. You can flirt with a person or just send them a more noncommital message. And you can even add profiles to your “little black book” allowing you access to information that the person has otherwise restricted.
(A point of note is that I’d love to see part of the public profile being “what bike I have/what links I have to biking”).
The site is newish, so the first 5,000 members get free access to all features (presumably, after that it’ll be a paid service.) It also offers some common sense rules for meeting people in real life for the first time.
There’s not too much to lose in a free membership, so if that’s something that interests you, give it a shot. You just never know: you might meet the biker love of your life. At least you’ll have one thing in common. :)
