Outside of Tonopah I picked up highway 6. This may be one of its few curves in Nevada. It shoots out forever into the mountains.

I went past the intersection with 375 to pick up a snarf and turned around here–opposite some kind of military installation (but that’s farm equipment in the picture).

Then, at Warm Springs–a boarded up building and some cars rotting in the desert–I picked up the Extraterrestrial Highway.
