JR the embarrassed

Filed in Daily Photo
JR at the vet

We spent some quiet time alone with JR before he was taken back. Despite the signs everywhere saying that no non-staff were allowed back there, they had no problem with our carrying him to his big cage. He looks very sorry for himself: cats are much too dignified for this kind of nonsense.

Ah, that takes me back to my other cat Rockey, we had to put him down this summer. Crystals ? who knew… I feel for you when they are your baby it is so hard to say no. He had to wear the cone as well for about 3 months… Your JR is such a cutie! Rockey was the same way very embarrassed…you could tell, he wasnt the same cat. But he was an orange cat they are amazing purrers…he was always purring
We did do surgery for Rockey but after 2 times we had to put him down, we know that he had a great life and we struggled with the decision for many days…it was hard. Keep the faith and know that your JR :) is happy that you are his parents!!! Keep me posted.
    Good luck

Kyla — yes, JR is a big purrer. Sometimes he will just spontaneously emit this HUGE purr and we will both crack out laughing.

You obviously loved your kitty very much! I’m glad I stopped by. :)
