OK, it’s official. I have been set up on the Blogathon site and here are the details.

Here’s how it works:

1. You sign up to make a pledge — you can stay anonymous if you want
   
2. You make the pledge, either based on how many hours I survive or on the whole event
   
3. I do my stuff
   
4. You swing by my journal on Saturday (it starts at 6am Pacific, which for me is obscene) and encourage me/poke me with a stick
   
5. After the event, you make the actual donation at the CCF donation page
   

If you don’t want to sign up, that’s fine–I can pledge on your behalf: it’s called a proxy pledge. However, as far as I can tell accounts are deleted after the event because you have to sign up freshly every years.

Please, please, help to ge the word out! This has two purposes: lots of interesting people will swing by on Saturday to help keep me going, and of course I hope to receive pledges! If you could mention this on your blog, or tell your friends, that would be really cool.
