I can has kibble?
Filed in PhotographyWe buy expensive, low-calorie food for our three indoor cats, but feed a number of strays outside with the cheap, high-fat stuff.
Our cats, oddly, prefer the cheap, high-fat stuff. I have caught all three of them with their heads buried in the bag before now.

That doesn’t surprise me. Fat is tasty!

Yeah. Considering that my head might look like that in some Ben & Jerry’s, I’m not so sure it’s “oddly”!

Yes, my cats are still miffed I switched them to organic healthy stuff. I keep telling them that if it’s good enough for the dog and me, then it’s good enough for them. They don’t seem to be buying it. They also refused the offer that if they go get jobs they can buy whatever they want to eat. Hmmph!
Anyway, thanks for the chuckle. :)

I tried switching my cat’s food last year and he went on a hunger strike. So, I started giving him medium-fattening food and it seemed to agree with him.
Unfortunately, my husband and I can’t have ice cream without the cat BEGGING for it! Luckily he’s not too chubby…

LOL! I just let my cats go hungry, unless all *three* stop eating all at once, then I figure the food must be bad. They’ve never held out for too long.

I try not to let our cats eat too much human food, mostly because I’m usually the one who gets to clean the upchuck afterwards. ;)
