Scavenging on a grand scale
Filed in Morning CoffeeScavenger hunts are fun. This one is on a global scale. Right now this site is recruiting world travelers to take part in a global treasure hunt. It’s open to the public–there will be 25 teams of two and anyone can apply. The actual event takes place next April. I’m unclear what format this will take–TV, blog, whatever–but it sure looks like fun. (No, it doesn’t appeal to me.)

Kind of sounds like The Amazing Race. Which I don’t actually watch, but would love to be on…. at least in my imagination!

April… not next year for me. By April my life will probably be complete chaos. Things will calm down for me by about October of 2008.

Buffra: Yeah, although I’ve never seen the Amazing Race. But yes, it sounds like what little I’ve heard about it :)

My husband is finishing up his PhD and then we’ll be moving to his new job. Right now he’s both writing and looking for a job. So sometime next year we’ll probably be moving.
