Gossamer wings

There are lots of dragonflies in this area. They eat mosquitos, which is good, and flit around on their gossamer wings. This one was hard to “capture” as it moved from place to place.

We’ve been seeing more dragonflies around our home. I’m not sure where they are coming from but they are certainly welcome.

There are all sorts around here…I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many. Big yellow ones, these almost transparent ones, and the little blue neons that visit us at home. :)
