Giant eagle

This large, impressive but moderately ugly eagle is part of Walnut Grove’s quirky decor. It stands as a memorial to POWs and MIAs, and I have not been able to find the backstory. It’s not the only huge sculpture made from cable; there’s a Statue of Liberty as well.
