A sign of the times

This fallen sign advertises a resort that was due to open in 2005. It still sits there, waiting for someone with a pickup-truck big enough to come and steal it.
I thought it looked sort of dramatic out there with the stormy sky.

I just hate it when space it cleared for development and then nothing happens. :(

They could probably repaint it and use it as a political sign.
I hate to say it but I think things are going to get a little worse before they better.
