Up too early
Filed in BlogIt’s not so much the dawn chorus yet as the dawn prelude. Some bird was twittering randomly outside our open window; in the distance, a crow calls. They’ll all start singing, maniacally, very soon. The sky is graying with the arrival of light, and everything smells fresh and clean.
I’m up because a nightmare, probably brought on by not enough water yesterday, woke me up. As you don’t need to hear about my once-a-year nightmares, I’ll leave you with the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time, instead. Enjoy.
