Dancing in the wind

Filed in Motorcycling

This evening it suddenly occurred to me that it was my chapter’s meeting tonight, so I had an impromtu ride there with my husband. Round the slim agenda we managed to have conversations about bathrooms, the Burning Man “Pee Cup” camp, the fact that I inadvertently booked a flight on September 11th, and the rides we were excited about right now. lusty showed that her new GPS can get satellite reception indoors, with the immediate result that I had GPS envy. My GPS was having trouble getting reception outdoors last Saturday, but I’m still not in the market for a new one.

Usually we are a larger group, but this time we all fit around one table, which was nice and cosy. I am really enjoying my club right now. It is neat to be part of a group of intelligent, feisty women with an immense shared sense of humour. I am coming up to three years since I first tentatively walked into a meeting, and I’m glad I did. It took me a long time to pluck up the courage–I was a member of Women on Wheels® for a year before then, but I did, and here I am. Yay Wind Dancers!
