Filed in BX Convention 2007The powder battery (I think)–oldest building in Charleston (I think)
Pretty bridge. Reminds me of the one crossing over to Inverness.

The Customs House, National Historic Landmark, a view from a pier out into the river.

As seen from a carriage, one of the earliest examples of federal architecture in Charleston.

One of so many beautiful colonnaded houses. Pure white, like a wedding cake.
I wish I'd framed it just a little bit differently though, to give a tiny bit more space at the top.
Darn, I'll just have to go back. ;-)

A pier jutting out into the river. It was equipped with several bench swings, all occupied by people with blissful expressions.
