Wow…I wasn’t quite expecting the little frisson of emotion as I crossed back into California, but it sure felt like coming home.

I managed to arrive in Barstow within about ten minutes of Don, and we met at the Denny’s and are now safely in a motel. Unfortunately, internet connectivity is very expensive again - next time, I’ll fork out for a decent ISP and use that.

I should imagine we’ll get home on Sunday, which will bring my trip time up to 36 days.

I’m happy. :-)
