Opposite the state park is a private RV/mobile home park. We checked it out as a potential move-to location. We particularly liked this pretty little “boat” full of wildflowers. :)

Hi Linda, I confess, I have been visiting your site for about three months now, I just never left a comment before. Your daily photos inspired me to start taking my camera on our weekly rides and share our beautiful Alabama with others. Liz mentioned your giving away a book this month, and I’m all about prizes! LOL! Thanks for sharing this beautiful countryside we call America, you have great pictures! Come visit me sometime. (www.ladyridesalot.blogspot.com) Ride on! Lady R

Yay! I love it when somebody de-lurks. ;)

Sometimes the daily picture is a harder proposition than other! Welcome. :)

I’ll definitely visit you…but if you want a shot at the book, the book giveaway is on Raven’s Rides.

Your pics are getting better. Dunno if you’re posting more of them, or they’re better than before, but suddenly, last couple of weeks, this blog looks like spring just kicked in here on the internet.. :)

BTW, read your guest post on Uptake about Markeroni. Cool stuff.

I’m posting one a day on four blogs. I take *lots* of pictures. ;)

Spring *did* just kick in *grin*

Thanks (on both counts) :)
